Ethiopian Transport Investment Summit kicked off yesterday March 25, 2021, in Addis Ababa, Dagmawit Moges, Minister of Transport, disclosed.

During the event, 44 projects will be presented to be developed under the public-private partnership program. Those proposals include logistics, roads development, railways and aviation, among others.

The summit is organized with a view to promote the sector´s untapped investment openings and create a networking platform for potential foreign and local investors.

According to the Minister, the Summit “will also create an opportunity to bring new and alternative means of transport, promote knowledge transfer, and support transport sector with information and communications technology infrastructure and services.”
